Hals-Development Commences Façade Work in Iskra-Park Urban Quarter
Hals-Development has commenced façade work and installation of translucent structures in the apartment building at the Iskra-Park Urban Quarter. The total façade area in the 10 sections of the building will comprise 37,534,000 sq m. The Quarter’s neoclassical design based on the Soviet art deco style was developed by SPEECH. The residential buildings façades will be decorated with ornaments that are designed individually for each section and echoed in decorations of the entrance lobbies. Patterns of decorative lattices designed by Art. Lebedev Studio will be illustrating the achievements of the USSR during the 1940s-1950s in machine building, power engineering, mining industry, space industry, agriculture and construction.
Concrete works in the three buildings of the Quarter are 90% complete. In the underground part of the complex, the company has commenced finishing works and installation of engineering systems. Installation of general ventilation is currently nearing completion. Construction of dividing walls in the buildings is underway. The courtyard is fully prepared for landscaping and installation of amenities.
“Combining ultra-modern high-tech architecture and incontestable classics of the Soviet era in a single project was a rather difficult decision to make. But every day spent working on the project made us more and more confident in the choices we made. The Iskra-Park project has now entered its final stage and the Quarter is just a step away from facing the world in its final appearance. We have no doubt that Moscow residents will appreciate the results of the hard work by the design team, and that the Quarter will take its rightful place among the majestic and iconic buildings that line up along Leningradsky Avenue,” comments Sergey Litskevich, Vice President, Head of the Construction Department at Hals-Development.
Iskra-Park is a 2.8 hectare business-class urban quarter located on Leningradsky Avenue. The complex includes three buildings: a modern office building, an administrative office building of MDB Iskra and an apartment building comprised of ten sections of various height. The project offers a total of 772 apartment suites with areas ranging from 37 to 130 sq m. Spacious entrance lobbies, underground parking garage for 1060 cars coupled with a private courtyard inaccessible to cars, public areas developed in the best traditions of park design – all of these make the project a perfect choice for living in a metropolis. The complex is scheduled to be commissioned in Q4 2018.
The Iskra-Park Urban Quarter is the winner of RREF AWARDS 2017 in the Best Architectural and City Planning Concept category, and of the Real Estate Market Records Awards 2016 in the Multipurpose Complex #1 category.
