Location

Centralny Detsky Magazin na Lubyanke holds a special place in the heart of our capital, in every sense of word. There is no other kids store in Russia that can boast of being universally loved and advantageously located. Surrounded by the capital’s main sites (the Moscow Kremlin, Red and Manezhnaya Squares, GUM, TSUM, the Bolshoi and Maly Theaters), Centralny Detsky Magazin quickly became a site on its own and a major attraction for Muscovites and visitors to the capital.

The building, which elegantly fits into the Lubyanka Square ensemble, is special because it has no quiet facades. All four facades overlook busy streets: Teatralny Proyezd and Lubyanka Square are the center’s most important transport nodes, and Rozhdestvenka and Pushechnaya Street are always full of pedestrians making their way to numerous cafes and shops in the historic shopping zone of Kuznetsky Most.
